About Us

Billionaires.Africa is the premier news site solely devoted to publishing daily news and actionable intelligence on the wealthiest people in Africa, and the entities they control.

We closely monitor the economic, political, philanthropic and personal activities of African billionaires, ultra high-net worth individuals, and the most important captains of industry on the continent. By leveraging on the power of proximity and our access to these well-heeled individuals, we are able to deliver timely news and privileged information that helps you make sense of critical business and policy news in Africa — and the power-brokers who shape them.

The news and intelligence we provide offer unique insights to corporations, charitable foundations, educational institutions, and luxury brands seeking to build relationships and engage with the wealthiest Africans and the businesses they control.

Billionaires.Africa is curated by a small group of accomplished journalists led by Editor-In-Chief Mfonobong Nsehe – one of the most respected authorities on African wealth.

Mfonobong Nsehe conceptualized and initiated Forbes Magazine’s annual ranking of Africa’s wealthiest people, and for many years was actively involved in evaluating the net worth of the continent’s billionaires and multi-millionaires for the magazine. He also travelled extensively across the continent meeting and interviewing these wealthy Africans, and built long-lasting relationships with many of them.

Ultimately, Billionaires.Africa will cast its spotlight on the continent’s most revered economic players and illuminate their activities – the good, the bad and the ugly – to the world. We aim to celebrating African capitalism while chronicling the success stories of Africa’s greatest entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Billionaires.Africa is free of all political influence and its editorial team guarantees rigorous, independent and high-quality reporting.
