This underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing customer engagement and reinforcing its position in the fast-growing digital economy.

The expansion aligns with Globacom’s long-term strategy of deepening its presence across the country and investing in infrastructure to support Nigeria’s tech-driven ecosystem.

Globacom expands to boost digital access

Augustine Mamuro, Globacom’s regional sales coordinator for the North East, said the latest opening reflects commitment to bringing its services closer to customers. “Our approach to customer service is underpinned by innovation and inclusiveness. This is why we are consistently seeking innovative channels to make available our array of services to them,” Mamuro said. He assured customers that the Maiduguri outlet is staffed with trained personnel to ensure a first-class service experience.

Globacom’s expansion efforts extend beyond retail outlets. Building on the launch of a digital innovation hub in Lagos, the company is gearing up for additional hubs in Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and Abuja by mid-2025. These hubs aim to support Nigeria’s growing digital economy by fostering entrepreneurship and creating new opportunities in tech-driven industries.

In Africa’s telecom sector, Globacom continues to differentiate itself through customer-centric investments and infrastructure development, solidifying its legacy as a leader in the country’s evolving digital landscape.
