The announcement, made via an Instagram post on Wed., Nov., 29, marks the end of an era for the wide receiver who, turning 37 this Friday, leaves behind a legacy of exceptional athleticism and financial success.

Jackson — who entered the NFL as a second-round pick for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008 — enjoyed a career that spanned six teams, with stints in Washington and Tampa, before returning to the Eagles for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
